Yeah, this has been happening repeatedly the last few weeks...the server keeps disconnecting at random and doesn't get fixed for a long time. Whenever I try to log into the chat room, it displays: "Opening connection to: 'chat.deviantart.com'" For several minutes. Then, what do I get but the error message: "You have been disconnected. Reason: [ undefined ]" Undefined has to be my least favorite reason ever. Because it's basically the server's equivalent of pooping its pants and saying "duhhIDUNNO" I know it isn't just a problem with my web browser, because when I try something other than Chrome it still doesn't work.
